I’m Cassandra Dawn, the writer and director of Echoing Grove, an independent psychological thriller, and I’m raising funds to help bring this film from the page to the screen. It is one of the most important parts of making a movie because it becomes the blueprint for the entire film, involves every crew member, and helps determine how smoothly the shoot will go.

Echoing Grove explores memory, perception, fear, and the unsettling possibility that what we remember may not always belong to us. It’s a story about a woman who enters the woods searching for answers, only to find herself surrounded by strange sounds, fragmented memories, and encounters that blur the line between reality and something far more disturbing. I want to create a film that keeps audiences questioning what they are seeing until the very end.
