During a recent trip to Kenya, I volunteered at a school serving over 3,000 students. While the main school had access to running water, I was heartbroken to discover that the Special Needs Program, located at the far end of campus, has no access to water. Students with physical and cognitive disabilities must walk long distances, multiple times a day, just to get water for the classroom. For many, this task is not only exhausting but takes time away from their learning and playing.

After consulting with school leaders and local contractors, we created a plan to install a water line and small water tower to bring clean, running water directly to the Special Needs Program section for just $1,500 CAD$ !!

I’ve committed to making this happen. The school is ready to begin construction as soon as the funds are sent. Every dollar helps bring clean running water, independence, and better health to these incredible students.
