On the morning of September 24th, 2024, Dr. Balraj Sethi demonstrated extraordinary bravery and love when he dived into the Alaknanda River to save his father from its strong currents. His heroic actions have inspired us all, and we firmly believe that Dr. Balraj is alive and waiting to be found.

Since that day, the search for Dr. Balraj has been pursued with the same unwavering determination he always showed in his own life—a man who never gave up on anyone. Two extensive ground search operations, including the use of thermal drones, have been carried out in collaboration with local authorities, covering a 10-kilometre stretch of the river. Given his exceptional courage and resilience, and observations from search teams, we are confident in his ability to survive.

Now, the search is expanding beyond the river, exploring areas across the region where he may have sought safety. However, the sheer size and density of India’s population present unique challenges, making swift and focused action critical.
