Hi everyone,

I never thought I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help like this, but I’m trying to bring my dog Doug safely home from America to the UK.

Doug is my 2-year-old golden retriever, but to me he is so much more than just a dog. He has been my comfort, stability, best friend, and family through some of the hardest moments of my life.

I am now back in the UK, but Doug is still in America, and being separated from him has been absolutely heartbreaking. The one thing I want more than anything is to get him home safely so we can be together again.

Unfortunately, international pet relocation is incredibly expensive. Between airline costs, veterinary paperwork, health certificates, approved travel arrangements, transport, and emergency expenses, the total cost has become far more than I can manage alone right now.

My biggest fear is not being able to bring Doug home.

I am doing absolutely everything I can myself, but I’m reaching out in the hope that people may be willing to help us make this journey possible.

The funds raised will go towards:

International pet travel and airline fees

Veterinary appointments, vaccinations, and health certificates

UK import and travel requirements

Airline-approved travel crate and preparation

Transport costs in America and the UK

Emergency and unexpected expenses during the move

Doug deserves a safe journey home and a stable life with the person who loves him most. Anyone who knows me knows how much he means to me.
