My name is Christina Cline and I am married to a wonderful man, Doug. Before April of 2025 he was an avid bowler. He bowled leagues and almost every tournaments. But since April, all he can do right now is watch videos of tournaments he has bowled in before. He was diagnosed with Polymyositis. This disease has the muscles in his body to fight against each other. They are giving him medication to try. It is slow going. Now he is wheelchair bound and it is hard to see. He is working very hard to walk. He will be discharged soon and go to a skilled nursing center. Not sure how long he will be there. We have to get a wheelchair, bedside commode, and a patient hospital bed. This is the minimum. We may have to pay for O/T and P/T help to come to my house. Our insurance does not pay for these things. Any help will be appreciated. He misses his bowling friends. He misses bowling period. Maybe someday he will get back into it.
