Hello! My name is Percy. My little sister, El, is going through an incredibly difficult time as she escapes a domestic violence situation. She is also a member of the dog community under the handle @Delilahthedobie. El was staying in a shared space with her ex and Delilah. Delilah has been by her side through it all, but unfortunately, Delilah is not allowed at my sister's new residence. With only a short window to find Delilah a new home, my sister was given until March 15th to rehome her beloved companion. Despite her best efforts, she couldn't find a space home for Delilah in time.

When I heard about their situation, I knew I had to help. I offered to foster Delilah and give her a loving, safe environment while my sister gets back on her feet.

The only challenge is that Delilah is currently over 800 miles away in Maryland, and I am in Florida. We are determined to bring Delilah to her new foster home, but the cost of gas for the round trip is more than we can manage right now.

We are asking for help to cover the travel expenses so Delilah can be safely transported to Florida and reunited with family who loves her.
