Honoring the life of DeAnna Michelle Gutierrez: Help Us Bring Her Family Together
We are heartbroken to share that on October 22nd, we lost DeAnna—a loving mother, cherished partner, and beautiful soul who brought light into the lives of everyone who knew her.
DeAnna passed away unexpectedly in the home she shared with her partner, leaving behind children who loved her deeply and a community that will forever remember her warmth and spirit. In the midst of our grief, her son Donavan stepped up with incredible strength and love to ensure his mother was laid to rest with dignity, covering the costs of her cremation during one of the most painful moments of his life.
Now, we're coming together to help make sure DeAnna's children can be here in Missouri to celebrate their mother's life, to hold each other close, and to find some measure of peace in saying goodbye together.
**Why We Need Your Help:**
We're hoping to raise money to:
- Bring Donavan and DeAnna's other children home to Missouri from out of state for her celebration of life
- Create a meaningful memorial where family and friends can share stories, laughter, tears, and memories of the incredible woman DeAnna was
- Give her children the closure they deserve—to be together in their grief and to honor their mother surrounded by love
Donavan has already carried so much, and no child should have to face this journey alone. DeAnna's children need to be together right now. They need to gather, to remember, to heal. But distance and finances shouldn't stand in the way of family coming together when it matters most.
**Every Gift Makes a Difference:**
Whether you can contribute $5 or $500, your generosity will directly help bring DeAnna's family home. And if you're unable to give financially, sharing this fundraiser with your network means just as much to us.
DeAnna deserved to be celebrated. Her children deserve to grieve together. And we believe that when we come together as a community, we can make that happen.
Thank you for wrapping this family in love during the darkest time of their lives. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
With deep gratitude and heavy hearts
Brian (her partner), Kenny (her brother), and her children
