Deanna Cotten is living with ALS, and showing the world what real, radiant joy looks like, even in the face of something as relentless as this disease. She is not dying with ALS. She is living, with grace, strength, humor, and a whole lot of love. And we believe the world needs to see her.

That’s why we want to feature Deanna on a special episode of Good Morning Joy: On the Road, a feel-good, soul-lifting docuseries where we travel the country to uncover stories of joy, resilience, and connection. It streams on Tubi , Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Roku, and more. It’s a show that proves joy isn’t something you have to wait for. It’s something you can choose, even in life’s hardest moments.

We want to bring Deanna’s story to the screen, not just as a source of hope for ALS warriors, but as a legacy for her four beautiful children, her husband, and anyone who's ever battled something that felt insurmountable.

But we need your help.

This episode will be filmed in Wyoming, and the cost of getting our RV production crew there, handling lodging, equipment, permits, editing, and post-production is $5,000 but we are only asking for $2500 as I will fund the rest. Your donation will help us share Deanna’s story in a way that’s professionally produced, beautifully captured, and accessible to viewers everywhere.

This episode is also deeply personal.

When my own father was diagnosed with ALS, Deanna reached out and supported us while she was going through her own journey. Her compassion, encouragement, and kindness were a gift to our family. My father passed this January, and I promised myself I would keep sharing the kind of love and joy he embodied. This episode is my tribute to him, and to every person navigating loss, grief, or illness while still choosing joy.
