Our dear friend David Moseley needs our love. Anyone who has ever encountered Mose knows how big his heart is. From playing guitar on stage with his sparkling blue eyes and silly smile to teaching kids how to surf or just being a genuinely kind, intelligent, goofy, FUN person to be around.

A few years back, he suffered an illness here in Costa Rica: Chikungunya, a mosquito-borne viral disease. This disease left him bedridden with a weak immune system. David then suffered from pneumonia twice while trying to battle the Chikungunya. This, paired with thrush, no longer allowed him to eat and left him bedridden. That, paired with the devastating impact of COVID, left his bed and breakfast business unmanageable. His wife, Tracy, had to stop her bakery business to care for him, which left them in incredible financial strain.

Unfortunately, through the illness, he's lost the majority of his teeth. But fortunately, through the good graces of a local dentist (Dr Kristel Pauline Stanley Steinvorth, seen pictured here) he's going to be able to get full replacement procedure at a discounted cost. So we're reaching out to help make this happen!

Every day when we see how he pulled through with his infectious laugh and kind soul, we feel so grateful to still have him with us. Anyone who has ever met Dave knows that he is a person who makes your heart smile.
