My name is Quinda Mann. This request is for my husband, Dave Mann. We are currently in Macon, Georgia but live in Fort Worth, Texas. We had been on vacation. We were trying to drive home ahead of the hurricane. Dave fell a few times while on vacation, with one fall being really hard in the shower. He has Parkinson’s Disease. The falls resulted in an L4 vertebral burst. This is a very serious injury. He had to have surgery on October 2 - Fusion at L2-S1. He is in tremendous pain. He’s wearing a back brace. He cannot bend, lift, or twist. He will require inpatient rehab. We don’t want to stay in Macon away from our support system to go through rehab. We could be here for several weeks or longer. We want to be home. Traveling by car will not work for him due to his restricted mobility.

We would like to have him transported by air or ground with a nurse or EMT onboard. His medical insurance doesn’t cover this. I will need to drive our vehicle home.

We are requesting assistance to get him back home so he can heal and recover.
