As most of you already know, Cyndi has been battling metastatic breast cancer since 2015. She has managed pretty well up until recently.
In March of this year, Cyndi had surgery on her spine area to remove cancer that was causing spinal cord compression in the thoracic region. Sadly and unexpectedly, the surgery has left her (significantly) paralyzed from the waist down. Cyndi continues to remain in a rehabilitation facility where she is undergoing physical and occupational therapy multiple times a day. Abilities will hopefully improve, but spinal cord injuries require a long recovery process, and nothing is guaranteed at this time.
Cyndi desperately wants to return home, but in order to do so we need to modify her home for handicap accessibility. We need to get a custom wheelchair and also install a chair lift and ramp, which will allow her to return home -- providing her with the freedom she greatly wants and deserves.
Please help us to bring Cyndi home!
In love and appreciation,
Team Cyndi
