On Saturday, March 22, 2025, my father-in-law Crecenciano Mejia was pulled over for a routine traffic stop on his way to work. He was immediately taken into custody by ICE. He has no criminal record and was simply on his way to work to provide for his family.

This has been an incredibly painful and devastating situation for our family, especially for his wife, who relies on dialysis for her health and has no other source of income. The uncertainty and fear surrounding this situation have been overwhelming, and the emotional and financial toll has been unimaginable.

This situation is unfair, hurtful, and, frankly, inhumane. No one should face this kind of hardship simply for trying to provide for their loved ones. As we navigate this challenging and uncertain time, we are asking for your support.
