Bring Comfort to Sarah's Family
Donation protected
My name is Myrna Van Cleave, and I’m raising funds for my friend, Sarah Frank, whose eight-year-old granddaughter, Josephine Joy Thompson, passed away on September 4th. Josephine suddenly became ill while she, her grandma, her younger brother, and her two teenaged uncles were staying at a motel in Vancouver, Washington. She went into cardiac arrest and died several days later at Randall Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Sarah, a single mom and grandma, was raising Josephine.
Thankfully, Josephine’s medical expenses are covered, along with part of the family’s travel expenses. Any funds raised will be used to cover remaining travel expenses plus the cost for Sarah, her two teenaged sons, and Josephine’s younger brother to leave town for a few days following the funeral. It will be Round-Up week in Pendleton, a particularly difficult time for the family to face without Josephine.
In addition, I would love to bless Sarah with funds to purchase some much-needed furniture for her home. This would be a ray of sunshine in the midst of an unthinkable tragedy. Thank you so much for reading this story. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated. Please share this need with friends and family, and please keep Sarah and her family in your prayers.
