Bring Comfort to James Johnson Jr's Healing Journey

Hi, my name is Michelle and James Johnson Jr is my baby brother who was in a horrific accident on 8/23/24 that left him badly burned on a little over 30% of his body. He was airlifted to a burn center in Winston-Salem, which is about 2.5 hours from home. His length of stay is undetermined as of now. His arms, hands, legs, back and face were some of the worse areas. Most likely he will have to undergo surgery and skin grafting.

James Jr has always had a love for old cars and tinkering around with them, mowers and such but with the severity of his injuries especially to his hands it will be a very long time before he’s able to do much of anything.

We are asking for a little support for gas to allow his immediate family to visit so James can have a little bit of home with him to cheer him up through this time. Food for him as well, drs encouraged him to eat “good” plenty of calories to promote healing, and of course for the needs he will have through his healing process once he comes home.
