For years Eliza has fought back from numerous medical crisis. Unfortunately, right after Christmas she became ill and as a result was hospitalized with numerous broken ribs and pneumonia. We brought her home on oxygen last week. Our goal is to get her as comfortable as possible, and one of the things that will help with that is a hospital bed* and comfortable mattress. We would appreciate any help towards this goal.

For those of you who might not know Eliza directly, she is loved. She is a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She has always given of her time and energy to help members of the various communities she shares space with find connections and help. However, her health journey has been a solid uphill climb that has gotten worse in the last two years. Although life did not deal her an easy journey, her attitude and ability to persevere is remarkable.

*The bed in one that rises from the floor as well as lifts the head, to accommodate her extremely loose joints and hopefully prevent more physical damage as she heals.
