At the start of 2024, my brother-in-law, Kourosh, tragically passed away. His loss has been a huge blow to our family. He spent much of his early life in and out of hospitals, including those at Kings Mill Hospital and the PICU at QMC. This year I want to give back to those hospitals and bring joy to the children who will be spending the holidays there.
What I’m Doing:
I’m raising money to buy Christmas presents for the children on Ward 25 at Kings Mill and in the PICU at QMC Hospitals. These kids are facing some incredibly tough times, and I want to help make their Christmas just a little bit brighter. My goal is to fill the wards with presents, depending on how much we raise arrange for a Santa to visit the hospital and spread some joy.
Throughout the year, I’ll be doing a series of fundraising activities to raise the money needed to buy gifts and create a memorable experience for these kids. I’ll be posting updates and directing people here to contribute and follow along with my progress.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Every penny raised will go directly to buying gifts for individual children, from toys and games to larger presents that can stay on the wards themselves.
Spread the Word: Share this page with your friends, family, and on social media. The more people who know about this, the more we can help.
This is all about making sure these children know they’re not forgotten during what can be a very difficult time. The hospital staff are amazing, but no amount of care can replace the magic of Christmas at home with family. I want to bring some of that magic to the children who have to be in the hospital this year.
Thank you for your support, whether it’s through a donation, sharing this page, or just sending kind thoughts our way. Let’s make sure these kids have a Christmas they won’t forget.
