Ever since I was in 4th grade, I knew I wanted to be a preschool teacher. By 5th grade, I was already dreaming of owning my own preschool. Working with young children has always been my passion, and over the years, I’ve also loved helping teachers and directors grow into their best selves as well.

With nearly 30 years of experience in early childhood education and a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, I have dedicated my life to giving children the best possible start. Today, I am blessed to own Discovery Play Preschool, where little explorers learn, grow, and discover the world around them. We are celebrating 4 years this month!!

But here’s the challenge—I live in a child care desert where more than 86% of families in San Tan Valley struggle to find quality early childhood education. Many families are forced to leave our community and travel to nearby towns and cities just to find the care they need. And right now, there are no available buildings in our community to support our expansion.

That’s why we need YOU—our friends, family, and local businesses—to help us build a new home for Discovery Play Preschool! We are growing from serving preschoolers (ages 2–5) to welcoming infants and possibly a private kindergarten—giving even more children a strong foundation in early learning. But to make this happen, we need your help in securing the down payment to build a space where children can thrive.
