Bring Chester the Golden Retriever Home

Our sweet 3-year-old boy Chester suffered a really scary and unexpected heat stroke on Thursday, September 12, 2024. He has been in the ICU since Thursday night, and he is not giving up on fighting to stay with us. This unexpected ICU cost accumulated over $20,000.00 and his parents are trying to find a way to pay for this out of pocket. His parents need him to come back home to bark at the pool guy, dip his toes in the pool (we don’t like to swim), watch tv, chase squirrels and say hi to every person and dog that comes his way - because he loves everyone and everything (except balloons).

He was on a walk he has always done since he was a puppy, and he was walking alongside one of his retriever friends. He was inside all day and we thought he was well hydrated. We are very precautious and careful parents (he is with us 24/7) and he has never had a health issue, so we are just so shocked and scared that this even happened.

We have taken out a loan so he can (he must) come home, so every dollar helps to pay back this loan.
