Hi everyone! I am Chaya ~ a screenwriter and director with a passion for telling raw and honest stories that give unique and under-represented looks into Orthodox Jewish life. I am putting together my next short film, Unmoored, a story of pushing forward on your passions and beliefs, despite the obstacles.

When Polly gets a career opportunity of a lifetime, she does everything in her power to hold tight to it.

The film explores faith, human connection, and how to remember who runs the show (disclaimer, it’s not you!).

I cannot wait to share this film with you! I have some amazing producers and talent that I am bringing on for this project, and we are starting production in October.
