My Aunty Fenia moved to New Zealand four years ago, hoping for a fresh start, but over time she has realized her heart is still back home in Canada. She misses her family, her friends, and the life where she truly feels happy and at peace. Aunty Fenia has managed to save enough money to get herself back to Canada, but she cannot afford the cost of bringing her beloved dog Buddy with her. Buddy is more than just a pet — he is her best friend, emotional support, and constant companion. He is very skittish and has difficulty trusting new people, so rehoming him would be heartbreaking and extremely stressful for both of them. We are hoping to raise $3,400 NZD (about $2,700 CAD) to help cover Buddy’s travel and relocation costs so they can make the journey home together.
