Bring Brianna Home & Fulfil Her Dreams

Our hearts are broken. Our kind, loving and beautiful daughter and sister, Brianna Lani Cronin, has passed away in Bali, and right now she is so far from the people who love her most. We are asking for your help to bring her home to Australia.

Who Brianna was

If you knew Brianna, you know she lit up every room she walked into. She was a kindred spirit, quirky, bubbly and endlessly curious, with a laugh that pulled everyone in. She was a friend to everyone she met, a caring sister and a loving daughter and granddaughter.

Brianna felt most at home in nature. She would be the one wandering off the track to look at a mushroom, crouching beside tiny wildflowers, or gently holding a python while the rest of us kept our distance. She practised yoga with grace and joy, climbed mountains, explored rainforests, and travelled the world with wide-open eyes, from the lakes and peaks of Europe to the canals of Venice. In 2022 she proudly graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts, throwing her cap to the sky the way she met all of life: arms open.

She was always growing, always dreaming, and always making room for other people.

Bringing her home

Our first and most important goal is to bring Brianna home. The funds raised will cover the cost of her safe return from Bali to Australia so that we can hold her close, say goodbye properly, and lay her to rest surrounded by family and friends. Not having our girl home right now brings unbearable pain to our hearts, and every day of waiting is a weight we can barely carry.

Fulfilling her dreams

Brianna had big plans. On her vision board, under the words "Personal Growth," she had drawn her dream: an environmentally friendly greenhouse powered by a solar roof, filled with strawberries, blackberries, grapevines and passionfruit, with a cobbled garden path, a café, a yoga studio and a space where people could gather, connect and grow together.

Any funds raised beyond the cost of bringing Brianna home will go towards making that dream real, a living place in her honour that carries on her love of nature, wellbeing and community. They will also go towards an organisation that Brianna supported.

To the consular staff and officials in Bali and Australia, thank you for taking care of her. We also extend our heartfelt sympathy to other families who have lost loved ones overseas.
