On Saturday October 20th, Samya had a horrific asthma attack, went into cardiac arrest and suffered a devastating brain injury from lack of oxygen, all while attending Howard University in Washington, DC.  Samya's family desperately wants to bring her home to Chicago where she can pass her final days, but they need your help to do this. The cost of the transport to move her from DC to Chicago is something that her family just cannot afford.  Please help in any way you can.

As the organizer of this campaign, GoFundMe requires that I let you all know that my name is Jenny Data.  I am a longtime friend of Samya's mom, Keysha.  I am from Chicago.  I will be using the funds collected here to directly pay for the Air Ambulance (and its Critical Care health professionals on board) that will transport Samya from her current ICU hospital room in Washington, DC to a facility in Chicago.
