Blake, Sunny, and Roku
A high-octane short film set in Bangkok, blending martial arts action, sharp comedy, and a story of redemption.
Why You Should Be Excited
Blake, Sunny, and Roku is an adrenaline-fueled action short that follows a suspended American cop, a hunted fighter , and a Muay Thai master as they join forces to rescue a kidnapped woman from a brutal gang in the heart of Bangkok.
This isn’t just a fight film. It’s about redemption, unlikely allies, and second chances—with powerful visuals, dynamic martial arts choreography, and an international setting rarely seen in Western indie films. If you're a fan of films like Rush Hour, The Raid, or Bad Boys, this is for you.
Project Story
I’m raising funds to produce Blake, Sunny, and Roku, a short film that blends humor, heart, and explosive action. We’ll be filming on location in Bangkok with a local cast and crew, using Netflix-approved gear like the Sony FX3 to achieve a cinematic look on an indie budget.
As a Haitian-American filmmaker and founder of Dodmy Jean Production, I’m passionate about telling diverse, international stories with bold characters and emotional depth. This story reflects my love for action films and my experience living and working in Thailand.
Your support will help us cover production costs: camera equipment, location permits, travel, crew wages, and post-production. With your help, we’ll bring this high-energy, heartfelt action film to life—and share it with festivals and audiences around the world.
Let’s make something unforgettable together.
