Bring Bersain Home.

My name is Cora Garcia, and I'm Bersain's Spanish Teacher. On September 30th, 2023 Bersain went for a swim at the river, something he was passionate about. The happy day turned into a tragedy when the current of the river swept him away. We are all still in shock trying to make sense of this loss.

His family is not only struggling with the pain of losing a loved one, but facing the financial burden of laying Bersain to rest. Bersain was born in Aldea Tuizmo, San Marcos, Guatemala on February 18th 2005, and it is his mother's wish to have him back home to be buried there. I'm asking all of you to contribute in any way possible to help this mother to get her son back home to her. We are raising funds to cover the funeral expenses and to transport Bersain's remains to his home town.
