On Nov. 1, 2025 I lost my husband during a caribou hunting trip, he fell through the ice and has not been found. Search efforts have been on-going since the terrible incident, utilizing search crew members from the NWAB and NSB regions. With volunteer searchers coming from the surrounding Nana Region villages and Barrow.

We are requesting for financial help to get an ROV (remotely operated vehicles) designer/trainer here to Kotzebue, AK from Minnesota. He is willing to come to Kotzebue to help aid in the search for my beloved husband Bergman Nelson. The funds received will go directly to the airfare and lodging expenses for Tom Crossmon. If you would like more information for what the company specializes in here is the link.
