Hello everyone! My name is Chris Bautista and I own a food truck in Los Angeles called The Beignet Truck. I was sent a TikTok from a creator named Jessica Christine where she described one of her bucket list wishes was to have a New Orleans style beignet. Jessica has described herself as “terminally ill” and she believes she won’t have the opportunity to get to New Orleans to ever try them fresh… so I’m proposing flying myself to her town in Iowa to make them fresh for her and her family! I’ve been making NOLA style beignets professionally since 2013 and would love to share my talents with this beautiful soul. 2020 and 2021 haven’t been kind to my small business, so any sort of donation, doesn’t matter how small, would greatly help!
