My name is Stacy L. Ardoin-Pratt and I’m a writer, mother and survivor who transforms personal pain into stories that uplift and empower. After facing some of life’s hardest obstacles — including the devastating loss of her oldest son, Breen, who was murdered at just 22 years old — Stacy found the strength to keep going through her faith, her family, and her passion for storytelling.

Encouraged by her God-sister Valerie to keep writing, Stacy now creates heartfelt children’s books that help young readers face their own fears with courage and love. Her writing is deeply inspired by the light her son left behind and the strength she continues to find through her younger children, Camiea and Caiaphas.

Through every story, Stacy reminds us that even in our darkest moments, there’s always a reason to keep going — and to never give up.
