About the Project
This fundraiser is to support the continued life of Bala Hdoud, a bilingual album in Arabic and English by Lebanese-Palestinian artist Domina. The album is complete and released, but it needs strategic support, promotion, visuals, and live performance opportunities so it can truly reach its audience.
Who I Am
My name is Domina. I’ve been an artist for over 20 years, singing, touring, performing, and building my craft. For many years, music wasn’t just what I did; it was how I lived.
As the cost of living has risen and the music industry has shifted, surviving on art alone has become nearly impossible. Like many independent artists, I balance creative work alongside other jobs, but the passion and purpose of music remain central to who I am.
Why This Matters Now
My first album was musically strong, but without a marketing budget or strategic support, it never got the visibility it deserved. Bala Hdoud reflects my journey, my voice, and the stories that many rarely hear — yet it struggled to reach people who needed it.
This taught me something important: great music alone is not enough. It needs:
- Strategy
- Visuals
- Live performances
- Support from those who believe in independent voices
This is why we are raising funds now.
