Bring back the Arts Markets in Berridge Park

Denmark without the Arts Markets in Berridge Park? No way!!

The well-loved Arts Markets by the river in Berridge Park were first started in 1982 and run continually until early 2022. After a three year slumber, and in response to community calling for their return, we are reviving them!

‘We’ are Kira Schimmelpfennig, Vivienne Robertson and Adam Grok. Kira and Vivienne worked together in Denmark Arts over many years, taking our part in stewarding the markets. Between us, we know it intimately. And we care passionately about it as the iconic legend of Denmark it is.

Our intention is to bring the markets back to the community in much the same form as it was in years gone by. So here we are, under the new name of the Denmark River Arts Markets – still community-focused, with the fabulous support of the Denmark Community Resource Centre who are auspicing the event. Yay. We're giving it a go this Easter, but we need your support.
