Bring Back Sloop!
Donation protected
We are St Ives Pilot Gig Club and we are reaching out to all our followers, boat lovers and tourists of St Ives so you can continue to take beautiful iconic photos of our training boat and help our community rowing club bring Sloop back to the
harbour.
We are a small community Pilot Gig Club, we have 25 to 30 members depending on the time of year and "Sloop" is our most photographed training boat and is very poorly.
Everything we do is self-funded by our club members, we receive no grants, sponsorship or funding other than those we can self-generate.
Sloop broke free of her mooring and during her adventures sustained significant damage, and she has had to be taken away from the harbour, until she can be repaired. This means she will not be around to photograph and one of St Ive's most iconic boats is nowhere to be seen until we can refloat her.
You can see that Cornish waters have been a bit lively in the last few days and Sloop wanted to try and investigate life outside the harbour.
So we need you, our local community, tourist community, day trippers, relatives and friends to help "Bring Back Sloop".
