Help Sean Get Back in the Pool – His Therapy and Joy

Our dear friends Patti and her husband Kelly are two of the most giving people you will ever meet. They have dedicated their lives to helping kids and families find their voices as speller to communicate practitioners, supporting countless children in our community as they learn to communicate and thrive. Now, Patti and Kelly need our help.

Patti and Kelly’s son, Sean, is a remarkable young man with profound autism. Sean’s greatest joy—and his therapy—is swimming. The pool is where he finds peace, regulation, and happiness. It’s not just an activity for Sean; it’s essential for his well-being.

Unfortunately, Sean’s pool unexpectedly fell apart, leaving Sean without the one place that brings him comfort and balance. Replacing or repairing the pool is a significant and unexpected expense, and they can’t do it alone. Especially considering the young age of the pool and not a clue this was about to erupt, and to add Kelly just gave his notice at work to go full time with Nonspeakers.

We’re coming together as friends, neighbors, and a community to help Sean get back to the water he loves. Every donation—big or small—will go directly toward repairing or replacing his pool so Sean can continue his swimming therapy.
