Bring back Puck Fair!

For two years, Puck Fair had to be cancelled because of the global pandemic. Now a group of volunteers from Killorglin are working together to get Puck Fair going again in 2022, but first we need to overcome a challenge: rising costs.
Puck Fair is Ireland’s oldest fair. It appears in historical records 400+ years ago but is probably much older, most-likely stemming from a holiday in the Gaelic calendar. Puck Fair is unique in providing three days of family-friendly street entertainment, concerts and fireworks free of charge to locals and visitors alike.
After the dark days of the pandemic, we all need a bit of craic and social time in our lives once again, but putting on Puck Fair does not come cheap. We do our best to fund the festival with sponsorship from local businesses and companies, but we still have a gap to close.
We need your help to raise the last bit of funding.
The rising cost of insurance is the biggest obstacle for us to overcome this year. Additionally, we need to keep the public safe during the festival by hiring emergency medical personnel and by installing environmentally-friendly lighting.
Please help us with this one last push to get the festival off the ground in 2022. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you in Killorglin for Puck Fair 2022!
