Help Doug get his smile back!

My brother has one of the kindest, most recognizable faces in our community, and if you’ve ever came across him at any time, chances are he’s greeted you with a big “hello”, “what’s up”, or stopped you to chat. He truly knows everyone and loves nothing more than connecting with the people around him.

He was also born without his corpus callosum — the part of the brain that connects the left and right hemispheres. This rare condition has made life full of challenges, but through it all, he’s shown incredible resilience, overcoming obstacles that many of us can’t imagine. Unfortunately, he was also born without enamel on his teeth, which has left them extremely weak and prone to damage. Over the years, this condition, along with ongoing struggles with oral hygiene, has led to severe dental issues. After many consultations, we’ve learned pulling all his teeth and getting dentures are the best option for restoring his smile and giving him the confidence and comfort he deserves.

The total costs will likely exceed our initial goal, but we’re starting with $10,000 to cover the most urgent treatment. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to helping him eat, speak, and smile without pain.
