So here I am at almost 50 in 30 days & all I want to do is to be able to SMILE for my birthday. I’m asking now because since the end of 2020 I’ve had 4 strokes, brain aneurysm, gastrointestinal surgery, saroma mass in the wound , got laid off from my job and lost my mom…so yeah…I want to just celebrate life that I made it to 50 and be able to really SMILE about it!!!
WHY DID YOU WAIT SO LONG:
After several years of declining to share my story with the world out of fear, judgement, health & pride a few things have changed. With therapy I’ve released some of those fears and it changed my mind. Realizing that my story can change & help someone like it did for me. After watching Jamie Foxx share a part of what I also went through. I was compelled to conquer my pride and ask for help.
WHAT HAPPENED:
So in August of 2020, I had a day medical procedure. During that procedure some of my teeth were chipped & knocked out. However, I couldn’t get it fixed immediately because I was bleeding internally from diverticulitis and needed surgery ASAP. Doctor went in to remove an inch of my intestines and ended up removing a foot and a half and then a fourth of my colon as well. The day after the surgery I got Covid in the hospital and a week later the surgery sight developed a saroma mass. Then I had to heal from that first because the neurosurgeon wouldn’t operate. Insisted on me being stronger before he did his part….yeah his part. During a scan while I was in the hospital because I kept complaining of an excruciating headache they found a brain aneurysm the size of an egg. As if I hadn’t went through a lot already. I had the last of my 4 strokes on Mother’s Day 2022. My doctor then said we need to do SURGERY ASAP. I begged him to at least let me see my only child/daughter graduate high school bcus she did it ALL without me because I was so sick for her entire senior year.
So I had the surgery for the aneurysm on June 2 and was released on June 10th(my daughter’s 18th bday). Now that I had the surgery I had to wait a year until it had totally healed. Before any dentist or surgeon would touch my mouth.
WHAT’S NEXT:
I’m healthy & ready to get my teeth fixed so I can smile again BUT it isn’t that easy. I’m not working now and with condition of my teeth now it’s GOING to be tough to get a job in my field. I need a whole mouth restoration. Also, I have to find a new attorney to go the legal route which will take awhile.
No donation is to small because ANYTHING will help & be appreciated!!!
