If you are from Shelburn, Indiana, and shopped at the IGA in the late 90s/early 2000s, then you probably remember always being greeted with a smile from Bea Sefcik.

Bea is one of our own here in Small Town Shelburn and has worked hard her whole life to provide for herself along with her family. She also gave to friends when in need, even if she needed it too; she would give to them over keeping it for herself.

Bea is currently struggling financially and had her car repossessed. She needs $1500 to get it back so that she can have transportation to and from work.

Here is her most recent Facebook post from 9/20/24: “It's been a rough week. My car got repossessed on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. For a lump payment, I can get it back. I've also thought about filing for bankruptcy, to try to reverse the repossession. I don't really know much about bankruptcy. I'm not sure which is the best kind to file or if it would even help. I need lots of prayers and suggestions for my situation!”

Any little bit will help Bea get her car back, and if we go over the goal, then hopefully that will help her get a head start on her next month's payment so this doesn’t happen again.
