Bring Aurora home healthy
Spende geschützt
Hi, my name is Jennie and I’m Frankie’s Mum. Aurora is Frankie’s pony who she has loved and produced over the past 3 years, from being 5 years old. Aurora is far more than just a ridden pony, she is Frankie’s therapy and her best friend. Sadly 10 days ago Aurora coliced and was rushed into Valley equine hospital where investigations found evidence of inflammatory bowel disease which had caused squamous ulcers. Unfortunately since coming home with medication and a careful management plan in place, she has continued to deteriorate and has now been readmitted to hospital with a further colic and nasal reflux. Scans have indicated Aurora needs to go to surgery today to try and save her life. Unfortunately her small bowel is looking incredibly abnormal and no food is passing through her stomach, so we need to determine the cause and do everything possible to give her, her life back.
I am reaching out for help because this pony means the absolute world to us and we are desperate to bring her home stable & healthy - she is only 8 years old. Unfortunately as a single parent, and having recently gone through employment redundancy, this has come at the very worst time for us as a family and I will need some help to achieve the emergency admission costs we are facing.
Thank you so much to everyone for their ongoing love & support for Frankie and Aurora. If you can’t donate, sharing is just as helpful and we are so grateful just to have friends wishing for a good outcome.
