My best friends, Marisa and Ariel, need our help during the scariest time of their lives. If you’ve ever met them — even briefly — you know their love is unbreakable. Their faith has carried them through more than anyone should have to endure, especially this past year.
Ariel was taken from his home and has been detained for weeks, separated from his wife, family, friends, and all the people he loves so deeply. Ariel is the kindest, sweetest, silliest, most selfless person — someone with no criminal record, whose life has always been rooted in love, faith, and caring for others. He goes to the ends of the earth to protect and provide for those he loves. He is the husband that every wife’s best friend/sister hopes for for her.
Beyond the immense emotional toll of the past few weeks, the legal fees have quickly become overwhelming. While it is difficult for Marisa and Ariel to ask for financial support, I am humbly and lovingly asking on their behalf for help as they fight to BRING ARIEL HOME — a fight that should never have existed in the first place.
If you are unable to contribute financially, we ask for your prayers: for Ariel’s safety and strength, for Marisa as she endures this terrifying time without her husband while awaiting answers, and for justice to prevail with the right outcome.
