Hello my name is Kim. In February of 2021 I was diagnosed with ALS, and I have been fighting this disease, Apollo was a huge part of my life. He was my service dog, he was there for me every single time I fell or needed assistance with the stairs, he slept in my bed he was family. For about 2 months he had been sleeping with his head on my right chest, and he never left my side, well during that time I had gone for a mammogram, in January of 2025 I was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer, I believe that he new. Since March I have been going through chemo and during that time I had the genetic testing done, I came back positive for the gene. I’m now diagnosed with MSH6 (LYNCH SYNDROME). So this will mean that I will be having more surgeries to come.

Apollo was always there for me, 3 days before he passed, I was throwing up due to the chemo, he was right there licking my check.

I believe that Apollo knew that I had cancer before I even knew. What I didn’t know is that was going to be our last 3 days together. I was throwing up on Wednesday and he got sick on Thursday and he passed on Friday, at the emergency vet hospital. My heart is broken in half. I feel like something inside me died with him. I’m in serious help now, I paid his bill with my rent money and 2 of my bills. Apollo was taken to a crematorium for cremation and this is where I need the help. I’m not worried about the rent or the bills. I’m worried that I’m not going to be able to get his ashes back, I can’t come up with the money for him to get what he deserves and to bring him back home to me where he belongs. So this is why I’m asking for help. So please anything will help me. Thank you and god bless you.
