Hi :)) I’m Angie! I’ve been in recovery & healing for the last 5.5 years from my 17 year addiction; & I have been stranded in Mx since losing everything in 2020. Both of my parents died 3 months apart at the end of 2019, (9/3 & 12/2 2019) resulting in an incredibly ugly probate case which ended with me losing everything I’ve ever had. The past couple of years I’ve been trying to get back to the U.S., but it’s been incredibly difficult making any money from here (working for $10/day to get by) & have been simultaneously sharing my story online in order to spread hope, inspire others & create opportunities for myself. Over the last year in particular, I’ve been trying to gain traction in creating financial stability; however, it’s all fallen flat so far. I wrote an ebook & created a workbook journal in January but only several have been sold so far. I also created merch & tee shirts in March to help with the move, but again, only a few tees have been sold. Now it’s crunch time as I cannot wait any longer to make a move. My passport expires in March 2026, my income is $500 usd per month which barely covers my rent right now and there’s no opportunities here to make money. All jobs here pay $10 usd per day. Theres no such thing as part time work here, its 7 days per week, 10+ hours per day. Clearly, building an online presence does not automatically mean you make money from it (a big lesson I’ve learned this year). I have to pick up and move to a place that I’ve never been to and trust that it will all work out. I have no family or friends in the US. It’s just me & my puppy child India, which also comes with its own challenges trying to travel with a 70lb dog. Any and all blessings & donations will go towards living expenses (rent, food) & in the event I find cheaper living, $$ will help to relocate.
