Some of you may not know that my son, Andrew “Andy,” volunteered to go to Eastern Europe in December 2024 to provide medical care to wounded soldiers. He was not there to fight—he went purely to help. Andy is a retired Captain of the United States Air Force and a highly experienced trauma nurse who has been deployed numerous times. He is also the loving father of three children. His compassion, dedication, and unwavering desire to help others led him to serve on the front lines.
On Thursday, March 20, 2025, a missile attack critically injured Andy. He was rushed to a field hospital and placed in intensive care for several days. Once stabilized, he was transported by helicopter to a hospital better equipped for further treatment. He has now been moved to different hospital in safer location, he will continue to receive medical care before coming home.
As a volunteer, Andy covered his own expenses to travel to foreign country and now he must also cover the cost of returning home. Given the severity of his injuries, he will require specialized transportation to ensure his medical and physical needs are met—a costly and complex process.
I am asking for your help to cover the expenses of his travel, medical care, and ongoing recovery. Andy has always put others before himself, and now he needs our support. Any contribution, big or small, will help bring him home safely.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity.
Lynne Fox
