Bring Andrew Stewart home safely

We are hoping to fund the trip to go find our dear missing friend and family member. We are overwhelmed by the support in sharing our situation and offering contacts to resources to bring Andrew home, but have come to terms that we need help physically getting to him and bringing him home safely. Costs will include travel expenses to get out to Portland, Oregon from Illinois (flights, hotels, rental car, etc.) We are also searching for the funds to rehabilitate Andrew and get him back home safely to his core support system. We may need to get him new identification, medical attention, and get him home settled, safe, and supported.

Andrew James Stewart (age 30) has been reported as a missing person in the NE Portland area. His last contact with friends or family was March 2022. He’s roughly 5’6, 140lbs, with an unfinished sleeve of tattoos on his right arm. He has dark brown hair that has a reddish tint in the sunlight and most likely currently has a reddish beard. He’s freckled with dark hazel eyes. His vehicle has been located, but he has been offline and unresponsive for months. Andrew originates from Garden Prairie, IL and was previously located in Alabama before moving to Portland, Oregon. He has had a tumultuous experience living in Portland. He had been robbed and experiencing medical issues during our last contact with him. Andrew is loved and missed desperately by a large network of people back home in the Rockford, IL area.

We are deeply upset and worried about the safety of Andrew. He is a fairly reclusive person and has a tendency to be comfortably transient, but this it’s been too long and this is not normal behavior. Andrew checks in. Andrew is an incredibly kind and gentle person. He’s trusting to a fault, and has always seen the creativity, the light, and the story in every person he interacts with. Anything helps.
