Hello, I am Amber Norton also known as author A.L. Norton. I have started a GoFundMe because it is my last resort. I am a victim of domestic violence and narcissistic abuse. I was able to escape my abuser 4 years ago but he has never stopped. He stalks, harasses, threatens, blackmails, and has caused me very serious health problems including a heart attack. I am always bedridden and have been fighting for my health, my life, and for my kids for fourteen years this month. He became involved with bad people, drugs and alcohol and it has become worse over the last five years. This past year it has escalated. I have become even more isolated and have come close to wanting to unalive myself because of him. I tried filing a restraining order and the police went to him and told him that I was doing this so he harassed me, threatened me, and took it out on my son. He left massive bruising on my sons chest. He then beat me to it and filed a false restraining order against me and my son. My son is in Indiana and I am in New York. I could not fight any of this due to being far away and bedridden. There is so much more that he has done, and so much more to this story. But right now, it is very important that I get my son to me. I am needing financial help to get my son to me and help get us a place to live. We have to start completely over. My ex-husband burned everything I own including things that were not replaceable, as in things the kids made me over the years, pictures ect. I am emotionally, physically and mentally drained, wiped out and exhausted. I feel like I have no fight and nothing left in me. I just need my son with me before something bad happens. I have spent over 15,000.00 fighting and I need surgeries, medications, and help so we don't become homeless. We are skipping Christmas this year and I don't mind, I just want my kid with me. I am a heartbroken mother. If you can help, even just a dollar, anything helps. I am an advocate for domestic violence and sexual assault.
