My 15 year old daughter Alonna has been missing for a week now (July 31st, 2:30am).  I have been encouraged by family, friends and strangers to create a GOFUNDME page to hire a private investigator who can focus specifically on Alonna's case.        
We have gone through all of the proper channels to locate her and have been let down by law enforcement, news media and the social services program designated to help in this type of situation.  Thank goodness for our village that continues to pound the pavement and spread the word.
I believe that although she left the house on purpose that she intended to be back before I woke up because she had a friend spending the night.  Even when we don't see eye to eye, it is not like her to shut us out or cut off contact with us.  She would have let us know she was safe.  We believe she is in immediate danger or may be being held against her will.  We have never experienced anything so terrifying in our lives.
She is the oldest of four girls 15, 14, 13 and 13 and we all love her and need her home safe more than anything.  Alonna is a light, a joy that brings us up at the end of an exhausting day and will do anything to help her sisters feel happy and safe.  At the end of a hard day when we are exhausted or feeling down Alonna is the one laughing,making jokes, and keeping us all positive through the struggle.
I am so very grateful for the amazing outpouring of support our family has received during this difficult time as we search everywhere for her.  Please continue to say prayers and remain positive that Alonna will return to her family soon.  
Any money raised will be used in these efforts and the remainder left over after she returns home will be donated to a nonprofit in San Diego  dedicated to helping missing children return to their families.
