Hello
My name is Tara Doyle and I'm trying to assist a young lady that is dear to my heart. I had the pleasure of meeting this young lady 30+ years ago when I started a relationship with her father. Even though the relationship didn't work out, his children, especially this young lady Alison, held a special place in my life and heart. Many years later, through Facebook, I was able to reunite with Alison and found out we had another connection in life, which I believe created a stronger bond between us. I'm unable to help financially, but if I can spread the word and help with a fundraiser, I'm here to help her. Now I ask friends to help this young lady close a difficult chapter in her young life.
I came into Alison's life when she was separated from her mom through divorce and custody battles. When I came back into Alison's life, the event we both shared was the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA. Her mother and my sister/nieces survived, displaced but lived through. Due to distances and finances, Alison was unable to be with her mom then. In the years since, Alison has maintained raising her children by herself without a family network or emotional support. Alison was close to her mom, but the 2500-mile distance that life created kept them apart. A few months ago, Alison reached out to me about her mother's sudden passing. The heartbreak has reached unbearable heights now because Alison can't get back to CA to say goodbye to her mother and bring her mom and her belongings back to the Dakotas with her.
Myself and her friends are trying to raise enough funds to fly her and her two kids out to Northern California for services at the end of March 2026, allowing her to say goodbye. After the services, her plan is to rent a car and drive her mother's ashes and belongings back home with her.
I can put her up in my home and drive them to the services as I now live only 2 hours away.
Alison and her children have a strong faith in God and the kindness of strangers. In these times, finances are tough for everyone, and I only ask if you can't spare a donation, maybe someone has connections with helping in other ways to help this family of 3 reunite with the rest of her family and have a peaceful goodbye to the mother-daughter bond that ended far too soon. Thank you in advance for any and all donations, assistance, and support during one family's difficult time.❤️
