Hi everyone,

My name is Lowoe Samolu , and I’m the heart and hands behind Betty’z Kitchen—a dream that started in my childhood kitchen, watching my family cook with love, laughter, and the rich, bold flavors of African food. Some of my best memories are wrapped in the warmth of a shared meal, where food wasn’t just nourishment, but a way of bringing people together.

That’s exactly what I want Betty’z Kitchen to be—a place where people feel at home, loved, and connected through the beauty of African cuisine. Now, I have the opportunity to share that experience on a larger scale at an International Food Festival, where I’ll be introducing our West African-American fusion dishes to a whole new audience.

To make this happen, I’m raising funds to help cover the cost of materials, ingredients, and setup for the event. But this is about so much more than one festival—your support is an investment in a vision bigger than me, a vision to make African cuisine a staple in global culture, to create spaces where food fosters community, and to carry forward the traditions that shaped me.
