Please help my friend, who is my cousin's girlfriend, get her dad back after being taken by ICE. I’m helping them since they are distraught and don’t know what to do. Her father was taken by ICE on November 6th in front of his house in Cicero. He had just returned home and parked from running errands and getting groceries. His wife was in the hospital getting eye surgery that morning.

Upon getting home from grocery shopping, Acasio and his daughter noticed that there was an SUV double parked. They thought they were delivering packages. When they got down to get groceries out of their car, two ICE agents got off the SUV and approached them. They asked him if he was a U.S. citizen. When this happened, he felt shocked, nervous, and speechless. He didn’t respond. The daughter was also asked the same, and she too was speechless. The agent advised my friend’s dad, not to lie, but he was overwhelmed with nerves and shock, especially considering he has diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol, that he remained speechless.

My friend’s sister, sensing the situation, began recording as they were handcuffing him away without any apparent reason in front of their house. Then they took him away.

Acasio has always been a good, hardworking, quiet family man. He has no criminal past or record and did not commit a crime when he was taken. He is a father and a grandfather. Two of his adult children are special needs adults whom he cares for. I am doing this to help the family with legal fees.

La hermana de mi amigo, al darse cuenta de la situación, empezó a grabar mientras lo esposaban sin motivo aparente frente a su casa. Después se lo llevaron.

Acasio siempre ha sido un buen hombre de familia, trabajador y tranquilo. No tiene antecedentes penales y no cometió ningún delito cuando se lo llevaron. Es padre y abuelo. Dos de sus hijos adultos tienen necesidades especiales y él los cuida. Hago esto para ayudar a la familia con los gastos legales.
