Help the Bright Beginnings Center in Hopedale Massachusetts raise money this spring towards their new facility therapy dog initiative. This program will match BBC with a puppy this summer who will be specifically trained to be a full-time therapy dog at the Bright Beginnings Center, beginning with time in the building in late fall 2023.

What do therapy dogs do?

- provide comfort

- participate in lessons

- help with de-escalation

- bring the school community together

- create a positive environment

What are the benefits in preschool?

- opportunities for social skills

- increased motivation to learn

- increased empathy

- improved attendance

- used as multi-tiered support

The $12,000 raised will go toward the initial $5500 to buy into the program, as well as 15 months of training, and support of BBC through the process.

How can we bring a therapy dog to BBC?
