Bring A Small Ray Of Hope

The recent earthquakes in Turkey have left a trail of destruction and heartache in their wake. With a magnitude of 7.7, these earthquakes have affected 11 provinces, destroyed 88,670 buildings, caused 132,500 people to become injured and taken the lives of 45,155 people so far.The damage assessment rate related to earthquakes is between 75-80%, trade areas and 750 thousand independent sections were damaged. It is the biggest disaster of the last century, affecting 13.5 million citizens. The harsh snowfall in the region is only making the rescue efforts more challenging.

In this moment of crisis, we must come together and help those in need. Children who have lost everything, including their homes, are now shivering in the cold, in desperate need of warmth and comfort. It breaks our hearts to think of the fear and suffering they are going through, and that is why we must act now.

That is why we have created this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for the earthquake victims in Turkey. Our Istanbul office supply chain manager and Tunc Elmas will work on purchasing tents, blankets, shoes, and other necessities for the victims, using 50% of the money raised. We will then distribute these supplies locally to ensure they reach those in need. We can share all receipts after we're done purchasing with whoever wants to see. The other part of the money will be donated to AHBAP Platform, an organization that provides aid during disasters in Turkey (https://ahbap.org/disasters-turkey).
