I became a coffee lover at five years old.

Ever since then, I’ve had this idea in the back of my mind that one day I would open something of my own in Winsted. A place that feels warm, familiar, and somewhere people actually want to spend time.

That feeling never went away. And now, it makes more sense than ever.

Winsted is on the up. There’s real momentum here. More people are paying attention, more things are happening, and the community is strong. What’s missing is a space that brings it all together.

That’s what Amery’s will bring to Winsted.

Amery’s Coffeehouse and Cocktail Bar is being built as a place you can come to throughout your entire day. Coffee and tea in the morning, light food, cocktails, and flights from afternoon into night. A space that feels comfortable but still elevated. Somewhere you can meet a friend, stay for a while, and come back again later.

I’ve found a location that fits exactly what this needs to be. Easy to get to, easy to stay, and the kind of space that can turn into something people use all the time. Not just once, but consistently.

This project is already in motion. I’ve spent a long time building the concept, putting the pieces together, and getting it to this point. Now it’s about moving forward with the space while the opportunity is here.

This isn’t about trying something out. It’s about building something that lasts. Something that adds to what Winsted already has going on. Something that people feel connected to. Something that becomes part of the town.
