My name is Anna Spark and I'm the writer and director of 'Sally'. I have created this gofundme to raise funds so my team and I can make this short film possible.

Logline:

Edie is stoked to land a cheap room in Fitzroy, until she meets her new housemate... Sally, the ghost of a 9yr old Victorian girl. But when a real life stalker closes in, Edie discovers that having a ghost (or two) on your side might be the only way to survive the living.

At its heart, ‘Sally’ is about how women - dead or alive, young or old - need each other, while the threat of a man lurking outside creates tension and fear. Inside, the presence of Sally (and the ghost cat Miss “Missy” Leibovitz) bring warmth, humour and unexpected strength.

Tonally, ‘Sally’ sits between ‘Ghosts’ (UK) and Kath & Kim; a blend of domestic familiarity and supernatural comedy that makes us actually want to live in a haunted house. After all, ghosts can provide a free security system.

The money we raise will be used to pay and feed our cast and crew, acquire the right equipment, dress the set and actors, and help us pay for festival entries. Every dollar counts and any donation, big or small, will instantly give you good karma and good luck!
